Moshik is a romantic, warm, optimistic, inventive, passionate person. ‘He’s the biggest person, who cooks most delicately I know’, says his friend and mentor, Dutch chef Jonnie Boer.

Chef Moshik Roth mastered his gastronomy in Europe as an adventurous autodidact, leading his own restaurants in the Netherland and becoming the only two Michelin starred Israeli chefs in the world.

In 2014, he became one of the three leading judges of “Game of Chefs” in prime time TV show, becoming a beloved and familiar figure in every home in Israel. In 2020, after 18 years at the pinnacle of world gastronomy, he decided to return his stars, close the doors of &Moshik restaurant in Amsterdam and return to Israel with his family.

Moshik reestablished his home, and has focused on professional guidance for local culinary ventures and culinary leadership of high-tech companies, while dedicating his accumulated knowledge to promoting culinary excellence in Israel. His fascinating life journey is the foundation for the 2024 reopening of his famed personal restaurant in the heart of Tel Aviv.
